Attending the Rolls Royce National Meet

Since the inception of AmaWaterways nearly 15 years ago, luxury and top-of-the-line design have been pillars of our mission. With each passing year, we strive to perfect our service, fleet and partnerships to provide our guests the very best river cruising experience. This year, we are proud to announce our inclusion in the Rolls-Royce Owners’ Club’s (RROC) official 2016 yearbook, Strive for Perfection.

As part of our editorial fit, we were recently welcomed to attend the RROC’s 64th Annual Meet in Asheville, North Carolina alongside more than 1,000 owners and enthusiasts from around the country.

I was thrilled to get an opportunity to see the fascinating collection of antique Rolls Royce cars on display and had a blast conversing with some of the world’s most innovative auto-leaders. So many of the Rolls Royce owners came to ask me about AmaWaterways cruises and it was very clear that RROC members share our company’s pursuit of design excellence, attention to detail and top quality personalized service.

It’s interesting to remember that AmaWaterways has long been associated with Rolls-Royce’s parent company, BMW. Melodies of the Danube cruises disembarking in Vilshofen with three-day extension in Munich provide our guests the opportunity to visit the remarkable BMW World and BMW Factory. More in-depth tours during the coach transfer to Munich are arranged whenever opening times permit so our guests can learn more about the production processes at the BMW Group Plant and experience a fascinating display of tradition and future trends.

Just another example how exciting it is for us to partner with different companies who help us enrich our guests’ vacation experiences onboard our ships or during the many pre and post cruise extensions we offer.

Cheers!
