AMAWATERWAYS LAUNCHES 2020 BROCHURE FEATURING SAVINGS OF UP TO £1,000PP, NEW DESTINATIONS FOR AMAMAGNA, AND A NEW SHIP

Guildford - (Sep. 2, 2019) - Award-winning luxury river cruise line AmaWaterways, has launched its 2020 programme with a promotion offering up to £1,000 per person plus complimentary flights and overseas transfers for European cruises.

The company continues to innovate with another new ship, AmaSiena, launching in 2020, along with the addition of unique itineraries and new land extensions – including a cruise specifically curated for the revolutionary AmaMagna.

Save up to £1,000 per person plus free flights

All European cruises are offered with savings of between £400 and £1,000 per person, plus free flights from a choice of six UK departure airports and overseas transfers. The level of saving varies from month to month with the maximum £1,000 available for departures in March, April, November and December 2020.

Meanwhile, guests booking a Mekong cruise will enjoy savings of £400 or £800 per person, depending on the time of year (flights & transfer not included).

The promotion is available for bookings made between 1st September and 31st December 2019.

AmaMagna to sail both the Upper and Lower Danube

The double-width AmaMagna who launched earlier this summer, will sail three new itineraries and cruise along the Lower Danube for the first time.

The brand new 'Magna on the Danube' 7 night cruise from Vilshofen to Budapest (or reverse), includes the new port of Spitz in Austria where guests will enjoy an exclusive wine festival, more daytime cruising and an included excursion at Schonbrunn Palace and Gardens in Vienna.

The 7-night 'Gems of Southeast Europe' cruise from Budapest to Giurgiu (or reverse) is already popular with guests on AmaCerto, but will also be offered by AmaMagna.

Additionally, those wishing to spend longer enjoying this unique ship can now book the 'Grand Danube', a 14-night itinerary combining 'Magna on the Danube' and 'Gems of Southeast Europe'.

AmaSiena joins the fleet and embarks on two brand new itineraries

AmaWaterways will expand its fleet with the addition of its 24th ship arriving in July 2020, the elegant 156-passenger AmaSiena. Sister ship to AmaKristina the highest rated ship in the Berlitz Guide to river cruising, she will feature AmaWaterways’ signature twin-balcony staterooms, a choice of dining venues, a Sun Deck walking track, pool with swim-up bar and a fitness room.

As part of AmaWaterways’ popular Wellness Programme, guests will also be able to join group exercise classes – including morning stretches, core strengthening and resistance band workouts – led by a professionally trained onboard Wellness Host.

She will sail a variety of popular itineraries, including two brand new 7-night cruises. 'Treasures of the Main & Rhine' will cruise from Nuremberg to Amsterdam while 'Vineyards of the Rhine & Moselle' will carry guests from Amsterdam to Luxembourg. Both itineraries will also be offered by AmaDante.

Three new land extensions – Istanbul, Nice and Bangkok

Mindful that guests are increasingly looking to enhance and personalise their experience with pre- and post-cruise options, AmaWaterways have introduced 3 new land extensions which include luxury accommodation and sightseeing.

Guests cruising the 'Gems of Southeast Europe' itinerary can now add on three nights in Istanbul while those joining the 'Colours of Provence' itinerary can opt to enjoy an additional three nights in Nice. Meanwhile, those exploring Asia on a Mekong cruise have the option to spend three nights in Bangkok at the start or end of their trip.

Prices start from £1,287 per person (including a £1,000 saving) for a Category E Stateroom on the 7-night Captivating Rhine cruise, beginning 28th March 2020 and including free flights and overseas transfers.

All AmaWaterways cruises include full board, wine, beer and soft drinks with meals, a choice of excursions & unlimited wifi.

Prices are subject to availability and correct at time of issue.
