As imagined by AmaWaterways co-owner and president, Rudi Schreiner, the “godfather of river cruising,” the AmaMagna represents a new concept specifically designed to elevate luxury river cruising. Debuting in May 2019, AmaMagna will embark on a truly memorable Danube River journey, sailing some of our most popular itineraries in Europe.
The Luxury of More Personal Space
While on board, enjoy ultra-spacious, elegantly-appointed staterooms, most measuring 355 sq. ft. and featuring outside balconies so you can stretch your legs while taking in the ever-changing scenery. Additional stateroom amenities include Entertainment-On-Demand, featuring free high-speed internet access, movies, music and English-language TV stations; individually controlled air conditioning; generous closet, storage and shelf space; and an in-room safe. AmaMagna also features spacious bathrooms, many with double sinks and a walk-in shower.
More Ways for Every Traveler to Enjoy the Journey
On the Sun Deck, take a dip in the refreshing pool, relax in the whirlpool or grab a cocktail at the pop-up bar. Head down to an expanded Wellness Area and fitness center to participate in classes led by a professionally trained Wellness Host. You can even play the role of “captain” while venturing out on the water in a zodiac boat or another leisure craft with AmaMagna’s new water sports platform. If you need to unwind, visit the hair salon, or stop in one of two spas for a massage or get a manicure and /pedicure services. And, in the evening, enjoy enticing entertainment in addition to nightly musical performances highlighting local culture.
More Dining Venues
As a member of La Chaîne des Rôtisserurs, the exclusive international culinary society, AmaMagna will treat you to AmaWaterways’ trademark exquisite, locally inspired cuisine in her two-level dining room and at The Chef’s Table specialty restaurant—but there’s more. New dining venues give you even more freedom to choose how you’ll indulge in the delectable flavors masterfully designed by an exceptional team of chefs, including AmaWaterways’ award-winning Executive Chef, Primus Perchtold.
